The Courtyard | Separate Space
Capacity: Up to 80 people.
The Courtyard is Ferrymead's dedicated function space - and the only area that's fully yours for the night. Whether you're planning a seated dinner or a more relaxed drinks-and-nibbles vibe, tables can be added or removed to suit your group. Two projectors and speakers are included, so you can set the mood with your own playlist or get a slideshow running.

The Bar
Capacity: Up to 40 people.
The Bar has a mix of leaners and booth seating, making it ideal for a drinks-and-nibbles-style gathering where people can move around and mingle freely. Sitting right next to the bar, it's the first area you'll notice on the right when you walk in.

Mezzanine Area
Capacity: Up to 25 people.
Tucked away in the corner, the Mezzanine has a naturally private feel — great if you want a bit of separation from the rest of the restaurant. It has booth seating and room to move around, so it works equally well for a seated dinner or something a little more relaxed.

The Booth
Capacity: Up to 18 people.
The Booth is cosy and comfortable, a great spot for smaller gatherings — where the conversation flows easily and everyone feels included. Perfect when you don't need a lot of space, but you do want it to feel like your own corner of the restaurant.

The Big Area

When you need the whole place, The Big Area has you covered. Using the full restaurant floor, it's the right call for big groups who want flexibility — mix and match table sizes to suit your crowd, whether it's one long table or several smaller ones spread out. It's a relaxed, open setup that keeps things easy and social all night.

There's no hire fee for any of our spaces. A minimum spend may apply depending on your group size and booking - we'll confirm this when you enquire.

We have one dedicated function space that is separate and private from the restaurant. The rest of our areas are open spaces within the Winnie Bagoes Ferrymead restaurant. You’ll still have your own defined area and we’ll do our best to make it feel like your own.
